Water Slide Cruise

  • Start by walking along the Guilderton boardwalk and enjoy our spectacular beaches.
  • Take a towel and have a dip in the Moore River or the Indian Ocean.
  • Practice kayaking canoeing, splashing and playing in the water, windsurfing, boating, photography, bird watching, climbing, collecting sea shells,building sand castles, treasure hunts, beach volleyball, or simply comb the beach for free craft supplies.
  • Pack a hamper and spend the day or a balmy evening with good company at the gas fired free barbecues under the trees and enjoy the river mouth view. Mother nature is often in action and occasionally the mouth of the river sandbar opens to the sea.
  • Swing the clubs on one of the most picturesque 9 hole golf courses in WA. For family fun day out enjoy a game of mini golf.
  • Paddle, kayak or canoe up the Moore River
  • Test your sand board skills at the sand hills.
  • Enjoy majestic sunsets over the Indian ocean.
  • Hang out the rods for some serious beach or reef fishing or catch some Bream in the River.

Bindoon Heritage Museum
"Brockman Centre Precinct", Cnr Great Northern Highway & Tea Tree Rd, Bindoon. The museum has a fine collection of machinery, tools and household memorabilia which are displayed in the Old Road Board Building and the new Museum facilities.
Opening hours: 10am to 3pm every Sat & Sun or by appointment on the following telephone numbers:

Bindoon Community Markets
Held on the last Sunday of each month except December, (8am to 1pm) , these are a must. Site is the Seventh Day Adventist Church Centre on the corner of Edmonds Place and Great Northern Highway. Blackboy Ridge Walk Trail

Located at the foreshore next to the Caravan Park. This service is to assist you with local tourism information on the Gingin Coast as well as providing information regarding the fragile environment of the Moore River.

Lancelin Sand Dunes
For a taste of adventure and an injection of adrenalin, head to the Lancelin sand dunes north of Perth. Here, you can go sand boarding down massive 45 degree angle dunes, which are the biggest in Western Australia. Hire a dune buggy, or hit the sand in a dirt bike or four wheel drive. From the peaks you’ll be rewarded with a panoramic outlook over Lancelin, surrounding farmland, sand hills and coastline.

Moore River Mouth
Have fun taking in the natural beauty of the Moore River. Walk along the boardwalk, swim in the Moore River or Indian Ocean, take a kayak, canoe or power boat down the river, sandboard down the dunes or go fishing off the beach. All good fun and all free!

The Pinnacles
The extraordinary ancient rock formations that make up the Pinnacles are located about a three-hour drive north of Perth near the coastal town of Cervantes. You can get up close to the Pinnacles on a scenic drive and walk trail that includes an amazing lookout over the Nambung National Park.

The Maze
