Seabird, Western Australia

Our Secret Beachside Hamlet

Seabird is a small coastal hamlet in Western Australia. It is located roughly 75 minutes north of Perth, and this "away but close" distance makes it a favourite among caravanners who seek some time alone with the Indian Ocean. But camping and caravans are not the only available accommodation in Seabird because Country Values Holiday Homes have a few luxurious houses in town.

More About Seabird

The permanent population of Seabird is approximately 80 people. They keep the town and the amenities running in top form throughout the year, which includes the large Frank Douglas. There is also a pub and grill for those who do not take to the self-catering aspect of a holiday in Seabird.

Seabird's real attraction is the nearly four kilometres of sandy beach. It is over 40 metres wide and provides ample space for the whole family to enjoy the warm Indian Ocean.

Seabird was for many years a closed town, which meant that only residents could enjoy the beach; but this was recently changed, and now the town is open to quiet holidaymakers and campers who want to relax for a few days or weeks.
