Booking Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing to book your stay with Country Values Holiday Homes. It is important that you check the receipt to ensure that the dates booked are correct. It they are not correct please contact us immediately so that changes can be made.

Please take the time to read and understand the conditions of booking set out below prior to your stay with us.

Cancellation Policy:
Bookings cancelled at least 30 days prior to arrival will receive a full refund less the $40 booking fee. Bookings cancelled at least 14-29 days prior to arrival will forfeit 50% of the total tariff. Bookings cancelled within 14 days of arrival will forfeit 100% of the total tariff. If you shorten your stay, the unused portion of your rental is not refundable. Country Values Holiday Homes retains the right to negotiate the tariff or length of stay to obtain a booking on a cancelled/changed booking as we deem necessary. 

Payment Terms:

Bookings made at least 30 days prior to arrival a deposit of 50% of the full tariff is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to arrival and will be deducted automatically if credit card details have previously been provided. Bookings made within 30 days prior to arrival full payment will be required at time of booking. 

Security on the Property & Incidentals:

All bookings require credit card details to be held on file as security on the property, in case of any incidentals eg; cleaning charges or damage to the property.  An exit inspection is completed to confirm the property is in good condition. Country Values Holiday Homes reserves the right to charge this card in case of any damage caused during your stay. This includes, but is not limited to extra cleaning, excessive rubbish removal or any damage to the property.

Extra cleaning costs @ $45 per hour min charge 1 hour. Extra charges will apply on weekends and public holidays

Rubbish removal $25 per bag

Key or remote-control replacement $50

Parking Permit replacement $50

Damages – Quoted cost of replacement or repair

The guest will be given a valid tax receipt itemising all costs and an explanation of all losses or expenses charged.

Credit Card:MasterCard or Visa via the online booking.

Check In:
Check in time is from 2pm. You will receive a pre arrival email 4 days prior to your arrival and this will advise you on how to gain entry into the holiday home .  An early check in time may be possible however this may only be authorised if it is requested by you PRIOR TO ARRIVAL. If this has not been arranged prior to arrival keys will not be released until 2.00 pm.  If you are likely to be arriving after 5.00pm please contact us to make alternative key arrangements.  If special arrangements are required for collection of keys after hours, a $20.00 cash service charge may be applicable.  (This fee is subject to change without notice).  Please note that keys to the property will not be released until payment is received in full. Only one set of keys will be given out per holiday property.

Check Out:
Check out time is strictly 10.00am on the date of departure. Any late departures must be arranged prior to your stay and may incur a late fee of $50.00.  The keys to the property must be returned to our Holiday Homes Manager upon vacating.  Our Property manager will advise you on arrival of how to arrange return of the keys.  Any late departures that are not pre-arranged will incur a late fee. If you have anything to report back regarding the property please do so upon returning the keys.

Property Keys & Remotes:
If keys and/or remotes are lost or not returned on departure, you will be responsible for the cost of changing the locks and 3 sets of keys/remotes (if applicable).  Should a guest require additional keys after hours please phone 9575 2601.  A $50.00 cash service fee may be applicable.  If no spare keys are available, tenants may be liable for any costs in gaining entry to the property.  The keys are your responsibility so please take care of them.
 
Linen etc:
Linen, towels and toiletries are not provided, please bring your own (unless stated where they are included with the property/King bed sheets are provided by Country Value Holiday Homes). Linen Hire is available on a request basis.  Please contact our office on 08 9575 2601 if you are unsure of what to bring.

Change of Owners:
When a booking is made, the deposit is accepted for the owner at that time. If the property is for sale and the ownership changes before your holiday, we cannot guarantee that the property will remain available.  We cannot accept responsibility for decisions made by a new owner.  However, if the property is sold, you will be notified as soon as possible so that you can organise alternative accommodation.

Listed for Sale Properties:
If your holiday property is listed for sale while you are in residence, the occupier agrees to allow the owner or agent to conduct inspections with prospective purchasers at a mutually convenient time, by appointment. No home opens will be held at the property whilst the property is booked by guests.

Internet Services:
For properties that supply free internet access to guests, the following terms and conditions apply.  By using the internet service, you hereby agree that the owner/or provider of this network is NOT liable for any interception or tramsmissions, computer worms or viruses, loss of data, file corruption , hacking or damage to your computer or other devices that result from the transmission or download information or materials through the internet service provided. Guests are not permittted to download illegal material and will be responsible for downloads for the duration of your stay. The owner is not resposible for any interuptions in the internet service during your stay.

Pets:
Pets are generally not allowed at our holiday homes.  However, we do have some pet friendly homes that will allow a pet outside only. A Pet bond may apply.

Rubbish:
Rubbish bins are provided with all properties.  Please ensure that all rubbish is removed from your holiday property and placed in the green bin provided.  Please check for rubbish collection day in your guest information booklet. You are required to place the bin on the kerbside facing the road for collection. Do not leave rubbish on kerbside, Any addtional rubbish removal from the property will be charged to the guest.

Guest Numbers:
Each holiday property is equipped for a specific number of guests.  It is against Health Department regulations for more people to occupy a property than there are beds to accommodate them.  No mattresses, tents or caravans, or more cars than the property accommodates are allowed.  If a property is reported to be overloaded, the tenants will be asked to vacate with no refund made.

Guest Responsibilities:
All properties under Country Values Holiday Homes Management are privately owned and are rented on a fully self contained basis. In the event of faults and/or malfunctions of appliances or inclusions, there is no obligation from the owner or Country Values Holiday Homes to compensate or discount.  All guests are responsible for keeping the property secure during their stay and will be responsible for any theft or damage due to neglect in this area. No liability is accepted for any injury, debt, damage, loss, delay, expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by events beyond the agent or owners control.  No responsibility is taken for guests personal property left on or near the property.  It is recommended that guests take out personal property insurance or adequate travel insurance should any unexpected situations arise before or during your travel period.

Left Items:
If requested we will endeavour to recover and return items of value inadvertently left in your holiday property, but take absolutely no responsibility for the recovery or return.  Postage, packing and the cost of sending out a staff member to search for the item will need to be paid in advance; a minimum cost of $20.00 applies.  Low value items found will be held for claiming for a maximum of 2 weeks and if not claimed these items will be disposed of.

Feedback:
Our Property Management staff endeavours to ensure that each property is maintained to an acceptable standard. We do rely on feedback from visitors should there be any problems or improvements that could be made. We do not take any responsibility should the property not be to your expectations, however, we will do everything possible to assist you should it be required. If you are not happy with your accommodation and nothing is reported to our property management department until after your stay please note that no refund will be given and no liability is accepted.

Callouts:
Should a tradesperson be sent out upon your request to carry out a repair that was unnecessary, the cost of the callout will be charged to you.

Losses or Damages to Property:
All guests are responsible for any loss or damage arising from breakages or other damage to the property during their stay, including removal of excess garbage and repairs or replacement of items in the property.  The property must be left in a clean state and in the condition that they found the property upon arrival.  If additional cleaning is required, the guests will be charged an additional fee.  All properties are privately owned.  Please respect the owner’s property and do not move furniture around.  A fee may be charged should this occur.

Alternate Accommodation:
At times situations arise over which we have no control, including but not limited to the sale of the property, change of management, substantial damage, etc.  Country Values Holiday Homes reserves the right to move visitors to alternate accommodation (subject to availability) at our discretion or at the direct instruction of the property owner.  In this case, we will notify you as soon as possible and make every endeavour to ensure you are happy with your new holiday property.

Rental Rates:
In the case of refurbishment or upon owner’s request, rental rates may be subject to increase without notice.  Should this occur you will be notified and given the opportunity to pay the difference in tariff or receive a full refund of your deposit.  We will also offer you alternate accommodation if possible.

Schoolies:
Unfortunately, schoolies and groups under the ages of 25 cannot be accepted, except in special circumstances.  Please contact our Holiday Homes Manager.

Parties & Events : 

All Country Values Holiday Homes managed properties are to be used as a residential dwelling only. Unless by prior consent and arrangement directly with Country Values Holiday Homes; the use of the property for a function, party, or any other like gathering is prohibited. If the property is found to be used as such Country Values Holiday Homes reserves the right to evict all guests with the forfeiture of all monies paid. Any additional costs for cleaning of the property will be charged to the guest.

Noise Policy:
We want our guests to have an enjoyable stay.  However, we also respect the rights of our neighbours and other residents. Guests are required to keep noise levels to a minimum between the hours of 10pm to 7am any day or to 9am Sundays and Public Holidays.  This includes but is not limited to loud music, shouting, loud vehicle noise or any other sustained noise likely to cause annoyance or disturbance to neighbours.  Country Values Holiday Homes reserves the right to terminate with immediate evictions should this policy not be adhered to.

Applicable to all Properties:
Any guest will be required to immediately vacate the premises if they are not prepared to abide by the Terms and Conditions, and will forfeit all monies paid.
